Understanding visits. Respecting your privacy.

We measure how visitors find and use the public MHI website so we can improve it. This measurement is separate from repair records, customer accounts, employee management, and landscaping company data.

What is measured

Public pages visited, referral website hostname, tagged campaign names, device/browser categories, demo starts, successful form submissions, contact link clicks, visible time on a page, and scroll depth. Approximate city, region, and country may be supplied by our hosting network; we do not request your GPS location.

A random anonymous browser identifier is stored locally for up to 90 days, renewed when you visit. A tab session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity. Detailed measurement records are retained for 90 days. The owner sees anonymous activity and grouped reports, not visitor identities.

What is excluded

Our analytics do not store raw IP addresses, full browser identifiers, names, phone numbers, email addresses, form contents, private customer links, or account/work-order pages. Only approved campaign fields are retained from a URL. Raw IP addresses are used transiently to create a short-lived hashed abuse-limit key. Signed-in staff and company activity is excluded; public demo activity and a successful company signup may still be counted.

We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and filter known automated visitors. VPNs, mobile networks, blocked scripts, and browser settings can affect accuracy. This page describes MHI’s website measurement, not all records required to provide a service you request.
